Bishop’s Tavern Space – Marble Mountain Development Corporation
Marble Mountain Development Corporation (MMDC) is inviting proposals for the operation of the Bishop’s Tavern space, located at the base of Marble Mountain in Steady Brook, Newfoundland & Labrador.
This is a unique space has lots of opportunity to establish a food and beverage operation within one of Atlantic Canada’s premier four-season tourism destinations — with a strong emphasis on building a long-term partnership with the resort.
Space Overview
- Approximately 1,800 sq. ft. indoor space
- Approximately 1,000 sq. ft. deck space
- Includes select kitchen equipment and infrastructure
- Wooden interior finishes creating a warm, modern atmosphere
- Two separate entrances for flexible guest access
- Located adjacent to the Marble Zip attraction
- High-traffic area with strong seasonal and event-driven visitation
Outdoor Features
- Capacity for 8–10 picnic tables
- Green space suitable for events and guest seating
- Existing horseshoe pit
Partnership Opportunity
MMDC is not simply seeking a tenant — we are looking for a committed partner to work alongside the resort in creating a high-quality, memorable food and beverage experience.
The successful proponent will:

Submission Details

- Business concept and vision
- Relevant experience
- Operational plan (seasonal or year-round)
- Approach to partnership and collaboration with MMDC
