Position Summary:

Responsibilities of this position include the general cleaning and upkeep of all internal areas of the Marble Mountain Resorts buildings. Other commonly performed duties include constant upkeep and cleaning of service areas during business hours, setup of tables and chairs for functions, garbage removal, and the cleaning of all common areas, the garage, and up the mountain. Additional duties and job description may be outlined during an interview.

Successful applicants will also be cross-trained to work as Housekeepers in The Villa.

Requirements:

• • Some experience in the maintenance and cleaning field for a large area. Must have strong verbal and customer service skills.
  • Applicants must be able to work alone or with a team.
  • Must be able to ride the chairlift
  • Ability to multi-task, adjust and readily adapt to changing priorities which may include having to work evenings and weekends.
  • Consistent demonstration of Marble Mountain’s Corporate Values: Trust, Safety, Teamwork, Respect and Accountability
  • A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
  • A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from RCMP or local police authority

  • Frequently required to bend/twist, stretch/reach and/or complete low-level postures (kneeling, crouching, stooping)

This is a unionized position through NAPE Local 1001. In line with our collective agreement, current employees will be considered first and by seniority.

Hours of Work: Full- time position is daytime.

Salary: MM1 ($15.86 to $16.37)
