SPECIFICATIONS FOR SNOW CLEARING 2025 – 2026

Term: December 2025, January, February, March and April 2026 

Term of the contract will be one (1) year. For further clarification, this one (1) year period  is considered to be one (1) winter season – 2025/2026.

Submission Deadline: Monday, December 8, 2025

Pre Winter Walk Around: 

The contractor and the General Manager will conduct a pre­ season walk through of the property to identify areas to be cleared of snow, snow dumping areas,  any new changes to the property and any special conditions that apply. 

Daily Snow Clearing, Sanding & Salting: 

6 days a week (Wednesday – Monday) Tuesday Closure 

• Parking lot cell A
• Dumpster and loading areas  
• Maintenance garage road 
• Maintenance garage parking lot 
• Heavy snowfall Marble Villa parking lot will be cleared once overnight  
• Parking lot cells B, C & D on Saturday, Sundays and Holidays 
• All completed by 8:00am 

7 days a week 

• Fire lane in front of main Buildings  
• Access roads and cul du sacs  
• Marble Villa parking lot 
• All completed by 8:00am 

Invoicing: 

Fixed price work invoices will be submitted to MMDC on monthly basis in December. All invoices pertaining to addition requirements will be submitted prior to April 30th  each year. 

Damages: 

The Contractor shall be held responsible for all damages resulting from negligent  operation. The Contractor shall notify the Outside Operations manager or designate  immediately in case of damages during an operation. 

Tendering Specifications: 

• Indicate snow clearing equipment to be used. 
• Total contract price to include snow clearing, salting and sanding. 
• Hourly rates to be submitted for additional requirements as stated above, and will be 
• carried out upon request. 
• All pricing to be quoted in Canadian dollars. 

Insurance Requirements: 

• Contractor to provide annually with a Certificate of Insurance of $2,000,000 each for both 
• auto and general liability and include the following additional insured(s):  
• Marble Mountain Development Corporation, Marble Mountain Resort and Marble Villa. 
• Contractor to provide annual proof of Workers Compensation insurance from the WHSCC.
