Office / Villa Manager




Under the direction of the General Manager, this position is responsible for all administrative
matters as they pertain to the overall operations of Marble Mountain ski resort. Specifically, this
position is responsible for the coordination of office administration, IT oversight and business
affairs of Marble Mountain Resort. This role also involves administrative oversight of The Marble Villa Accomodations.

Basic Responsibilities:
  • Interact with guests in a positive, professional manner and strive to exceed their expectations
  • Manage employee files and schedules in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allocation of hours
  • Establish and implement an appropriate accountability system to insure efficient departmental operations
  • Maintain knowledge of the current Collective Agreement and protocols required
  • Assist other managers to ensure training, record keeping and performance monitoringsystems are followed
  • Prepare the insurance portfolio for the company including interaction with insurancerepresentatives
  • Prepare claims including Workers Compensation, Occupational Health and Safety andrisk management
  • Assist and coordinate dealing with a wide range of outside firms, organizations andindividuals including insurance carriers, attorneys, government agencies, softwareproviders, etc.
  • Set up and maintain POS (Point of Sale) system including payment terminals andtroubleshoot resort software/hardware
  • Under the direction of the MM management team which include all other managers representing Food & Beverage, Ski Patrol, Snow School and Outside Operations
  • Coordinate ATIPP requests for the resort
  • Provide Records Management support
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • A certificate or degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with IT Technical Support a must
  • A self-starter with the ability to facilitate and coordinate day to day operations
  • Experience supervising employees
  • Exceptional organizational and motivational skills
  • Have the ability to set priorities, think strategically and be action oriented
  • Adaptability: capable of adjusting to changing priorities
  • Responsibilities frequently require an adjusted work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet resort operating demands
  • Proficient with current technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Property Management Systems and point of sale systems
  • Experience managing hotel/airbnb an asset.
