This wasn’t an easy decision but we know it’s the right one. The reliability issues we’re having with the lifts need proper time and attention. Your comfort and safety are our top priority every time you step into our lift lines. This is made increasingly frustrating by the fact that we actually have snow on the mountain right now. We had every intention to run these lifts until the end of the month but we can’t take a chance on diminishing the quality of our product or the enjoyability of your experience. After the 2nd most ski days in 5 years, We need to deal with these lift issues once and for all. There is no point in dangling a carrot of spring riding when we know we will be waiting on parts.
At the lodge – 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚. They worked hard so you could play hard. They rose to every challenge and helped solve every puzzle. We have a team of very experienced resort workers who meshed so beautifully with the group of new staff needed to meet the demands of this season.
What was just as important as our staff’s willingness to go along for the ride this winter – was 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒔. The amount of positive feedback and encouragement we received from the public was completely unexpected but more appreciated than you’ll ever know. When times got tough – you were there to show your trust and confidence in us. That trust is the thing we cherish most. It makes it so easy to be transparent in our journey. It’s impossible to throw in the towel when you have the best cheerleaders in the league!

Silver Lining? 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗗! Just because ski season is done, doesn’t mean the work stops. Marble can be a 4 season resort and we aim to prove that. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 & 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥. We hope that passholders are excited by what was done this season in a short time and see it as a sign of what’s possible with time and consistent community support.
We have lots of chances for you to stop by to say hello/goodbye!
