JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for experienced servers who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our clients’ guests. As an event staff server, you will be responsible for set up, service during the event, and break down at the end of the event. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, motivated, and customer-focused, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up for events, including arranging tables, chairs, table settings, serving ware, and decor
• Greet guests as they arrive and direct them to their tables
• Take food and beverage orders, and serve them promptly and efficiently
• Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively addressing any concerns and anticipating their needs
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the event
• Break down and clean up event space after the event
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, and follow cash handling procedures
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure seamless service
• Ensure that all policies and procedures regarding food service, sanitation, and safety are followed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a server in a banquet, catering, or restaurant environment
• Excellent customer service skills, with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure, with a high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays, as most events take place outside of regular business hours
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
