JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bartender/Server to provide excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar and tables, creating unique cocktails and pairing drinks with menu items. They will also be responsible for taking food orders, serving dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers and present menus and taking drink and food orders
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails
• Ensure compliance with local legal drinking age and regulations
• Engage in friendly conversation with customers while upholding a professional demeanor
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Review food and beverage specials and make recommendations to customers
• Prepare appetizers, salads, and sandwiches to accompany drinks
• Collect payments and operate a cash register
• Upsell food and beverage items as appropriate
• Work with the kitchen to fill food orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and follow company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a high-volume bar/restaurant environment
• A strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, as well as wine and beer varieties
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well with a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
• Physical abilities – standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to tolerate heat in the kitchen
